How do I get my payment?
Your payment will be made into your bank account (within 7 working days) once we receive device.
What do I need to do before handing over my device?
- Back up your data such as contacts and important files that you do not want to lose.
- Ensure that SIM and any memory cards are removed before handing over the device. Any SIM or memory cards found will be destroyed to ensure that your personal information remains secured.
- For iPhones, remove your Apple ID and passcode.
- Do not delete or factory reset your device before our courier arrives as TheGreenCycle application is required during the pick-up process.
- For Laptops, your device will be collected and brought back to the TheGreenCycle office for a thorough diagnostic check and the final quotation would be provided. You may choose to accept or decline the final quotation. Should you reject the final quotation, the trade-in order will be cancelled, and you are required to collect your device at the TheGreenCycle office. Please also handover the device charger at the time of collection.
Do I need to provide my device accessories to TheGreenCycle?
No. Please provide your device only without any accessories.
What are the requirements for Selling to TheGreenCycle?
- You must be the legal owner of the device.
- Your device must not be tied to any existing contract with Telcos.
- The phone must not be network and IMEI blocked, reported as stolen or counterfeit.
- We only accept devices that are unlocked from iCloud and Google accounts.
Can I sell a defective device on TheGreenCycle?
Yes, we accept defective smartphones. Price quotation would differ depending on the defects of your device.
Can I sell devices that cannot be switched on?
No, you cannot.
What if I prefer to sell my device face-to-face instead of online?
If you prefer to sell your device in person, you can contact our customer service to schedule an appointment.
